The purpose of the Student Council shall be to provide service and leadership to the College of Dentistry students, clubs, and organizations as a non-profit representative governing body. Meet our current Council Officers and Officials.


Javauny Hyde, President, is a 4th dental year student from Kingston, Jamaica.  He is a graduate of Jackson State University receiving a B.S. in Chemistry.  He aspires to pursue a career in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Javauny's philosophy is "Our life's sentiment is ultimately rooted in the pedigree of our actions. Since our influence on the world is through our actions, our actions must be resolute and done in kindness".  Javauny hobbies include photography, piano, an exercise.


Stacie Davis, Vice President,  is a 3rd year dental student from St. Louis, MO. She attended the University of Missouri- Columbia aka Mizzou and received her B.S in Biological Sciences and a minor in Business. Before starting at HUCD, she worked as a dental assistant.  Stacie is excited to be serving as the Vice President of Student Council and aims to follow Martin Luther King Jr. motto of “Be the change you wish to see in the world''. Stacie aspires to pursue public health dentistry after dental school and aid underserved populations holistically through dentistry and health education. Stacie enjoys traveling, karaoke, watching sports, painting, watching movies, and playing golf in her free time.


Jeliah Jones, Recording Secretary, is a 4th year student from Chicago, IL. She is a graduate of Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University. She is a graduate of Florida A&M University and served as the Class of 2023 class treasurer for the past two years. Jeliah has aspirations to go into cosmetic dentistry but loves general dentistry. She believes that a healthy smile is the best gift she can provide her community. A verse that she lives by is Luke 12:48: “For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required”



Gianna Muse, Corresponding Secretary, is a 2nd year dental student from Staten Island, NY. She attended Morgan State University where she founded the MSU's Chapter of the USNDA and earned a Master of Biomedical Science at Mississippi College. Gianna is inspired daily by her favorite scripture of James 1:4, which states “Let this endurance complete its work so that you may be fully mature, complete, and lacking in nothing”. She aspires to reach back; creating opportunities for aspiring health professionals just as her mentors have done for her. She enjoys cooking, experimenting with nail art, spending time with her husband, Marcus, traveling, and has a newfound love for Pilates! 


Terence Bolden, Treasurer, is a 4th year dental student from Clarksville, Tennessee. Terence is serving a second term as Student Council treasurer and looks forward to helping out the school with functions that are sponsored by the HUCD community. Outside of dental school, he would consider himself to be an avid outdoorsman. He loves going on hikes, kayaking, and exploring/ discovering new things.


Evette Ransaw, serving a second term as a Howard University Student Assembly Senator, is a 4th year dental student at HU College of Dentistry. She is originally from Alamogordo, New Mexico. Her parents are veterans which lead to her family moving to Alabama where she obtained her B.S. from Miles College and M.S. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Since 10th grade, Evette has known she wanted to be a dentist and has refused to let anything stop her. Evette’s main focus is to help restore people’s self-confidence by beautifying smiles. 


Eteete Dan, Howard University Student Association Senator, is a 3rd year dental student. 


Clifton Enlers, serves as dual role this year as First Chair Graduate Student Assembly Representative and Chair HUCD Publicity Committee.  Clifton is a 2nd year dental student. 



Aislinn Jolicoeur, Graduate Student Assembly Representative, is a 2nd year dental student.
